ALL articles and book reviews must adhere to the PUBLIC Style Guide.
If you are not familiar with PUBLIC, we recommend you browse through our past issues or refer to this sample article. Complete articles should be no more than 4,500 words. We encourage you to include up to 6 images (we cannot guarantee colour for all images).
Send submissions to the managing editor at public@yorku.ca with last name in the subject line (ex: Smith article Public 43) or directly to the editors indicated in the CFP. The title page must include:
– author name(s)
– title
– snail-mail and e-mail addresses
– very short biography (120 words MAX)
– abstract (300 words)
– keywords
If you are interested in writing a book review, please send a short proposal and bio to public@yorku.ca. Complete book reviews should be no more than 1,250 words.
